Ah, yes. After returning from a whiskey-soaked weekend in the hills of West Virginia, which included attendance at West Virginia University's triple-overtime grind-down of Rutgers Saturday night, I'm dragging this morning. Not hungover or anything (surprisingly) although I am fairly tired...I'm just not ready for this freaking cold weather. That's the true killer this morning.
After that storm front that moved through the country last week, it is now officially winter. It happened waaaaay too suddenly. One minute it's 70 degrees outside, and the next, there's a 20-percent chance of snow. And it will be like this for the next four months. I don't think I'll ever get used to these more northern winters (I'm originally from southern Virginia), and I don't know how people from the Maines and Minnesotas of the world do it. I think I'd go crazy. Anyway, just wanted to bitch about the weather, for the record. Now I'm going to crawl back under my desk and hope no one bothers me for the rest of the day. Because that's how you get ahead in life. Nice.
