I typed in "Metro" and didn't get ANY stories on the first page that directly dealt with the Metro transit system of the same name. Isn't that, you know, kind of a big topic?
I then typed in "Metro Chimes" and got some story about Dolly Parton and the Tennessee tourism industry. Ah, that makes sense. Wait....what?
You gotta rework that junk, The Washington Post. You know I love you, but your search engine SUUUUUUUCKS.

Always live in the google world my friend. Limit your web search to a particular domain using the 'site:' feature of google i.e.
metro site:www.washingtonpost.com
check out http://www.google.com/help/operators.html for more info
Good tip...maybe I'll start doing that. The Washington Post searcher is good for nothing. I may as well look through back issues at the library.
